Bait & Switch Spin and Yoga Classes
Let’s face it. Pool season is practically here and that probably means it’s time to get back into shape. The Madison Improvement Club wants to help you do that. You can start your upcoming weeks off right by attending the Bait & Switch spin and yoga classes every Monday morning at 6:00 a.m. The choice is yours. You can select the class you want to start with, whether it is Gina Marciano’s Phenomenal Flow or Kim Olson’s Party on a Bike. Half way through the class, you decide if you want to stay or switch to the other. Spaces are limited, so to guarantee a spot, sign up here.

Want to Learn to Cook? Now’s Your Chance
Let’s face the facts: some people just don’t know how to cook. That’s okay. At some point or another, learning to feed yourself, family, and friends will become relevant. If you want to learner sooner than later, this Sunday, March 24, will be you chance. The S.E.E.D Café, located inside The Madison Improvement Club will be launching their Sunday cooking classes.

Perfect for novice chefs, health nuts, Mexican food fans, and those of you interested in learning how to cook a clean multi-course meal, Chef Joe Meyers will be hosting the “The Joe Show” and you will learn how to cook a three-course meal. For just $30 per person, this week you will learn how to make guacamole, quinoa salad, and enchiladas. To sign up, click here.

Madison Improvement Club’s New Menus
With the end of the second month of the year, have you been keeping up with your New Year’s resolution of living a healthy lifestyle? The Madison Improvement Club is making it easy with the launch of their new menus at the s.e.e.d café, located inside the club. At the s.e.e.d café, you’ll find only sustainable, edible, and entirely delicious food. Incorporated in all of their dishes, the café only uses local, seasonal, and truly fresh ingredients. New additions to the menu include:

Squashgetti ($10) – an oven roasted spaghetti squash served with house made marinara sauce and shaved parmigiano reggiano.

Foody’s Palette ($10) – an assortment of cheeses and meats with crackers and other fun stuff.

I Heart You flatbread ($9) – sprinkled with artichoke hearts, chicken, goat cheese and pine nuts.

Me So Corny ($9) – with roasted red pepper tapenade, campo de malteban, corn, arugula and lemon zest.

Our favorite is the Money Well Spent nightly deal. It’s a bottle of house wine and two flatbreads for just $30.

Make Self Improving a Party
With the new year comes countless resolutions. What are yours? Maybe it’s starting a new hobby, quitting smoking, or being more healthy in general. Whatever it is, we say go for it. If you’re looking to go the health route with your resolution, check out the Madison Improvement Club, located in Arcadia. Celebrating its grand opening this Saturday, January 12, the club will be having an all day party.

So, what kind of things go down at Madison Improvement? Lovers of yoga and bikes, the club is perfect spot for you. With yoga classes for yogis of all levels, you’ll feel right at home. The party includes all-day yoga classes, spin demonstrations, and a live DJ to provide the soundtrack.

The club is asking for a $5 donation if you would like to attend a class. All donations will go to the 100 Club of Arizona, a non-profit dedicated to helping firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty. The day starts at 9:00 am and ends at 5:00 p.m. It’s open to the public, so we’ll see you there.
